Trip Itinerary: MIAMI 2 Days

Day 1

2:30 am - Departure from Ocean City, MD (LET'S GO – Travel Center)

3:15 am - Departure from Rehoboth Beach (Banana Republic bus stop)

The duration of this trip is approximately 3:30 – 4 hours.

6:00 – 8:00 am – Flight connection to Miami (approximate time)

9:00 – 10:00 am – Arrival in Miami

After arriving in Miami, we will have an orientation about the day and head to our first attraction – a visit to Everglades National Park.

10:30 am – 12:00 pm – Visit Everglades National Park with a guided boat tour. You'll have the opportunity to see wild alligators. After the boat tour, there will be a 30-minute alligator show and a short visit to the zoo.

1:00 – 3:00 pm – Visit Little Havana and Brickell City

Free time for a walk in the central part of Brickell City and shopping.

3:00 – 3:30 pm – Hotel check-in at a hotel in the central part of Miami Beach.

5:00 – 7:00 pm – Biscayne boat in Miami Bayside Marketplace.

This is a 1.5-hour boat ride among the most expensive islands in Miami, where the wealthiest people live. Alcohol is served on the boat, and you can order drinks. After the boat tour, there will be time for shopping at Bayside Marketplace.

8:00 pm – 12:00 am – Visit Espanola Way, Miami Beach nightlife, Collins Avenue, Versace House, and more.

The nightlife in Miami Beach is amazing. Espanola Way is one of the most beautiful streets with famous restaurants and attractions. The Versace House has been turned into a restaurant. Everyone has free time to explore and choose where to go.

Day 2

7:00 – 10:00 am – Breakfast time (optional)

Breakfast is not included in the price, but depending on the hotel, you might have a bonus breakfast. The tour guide will inform you if breakfast is included.

12:00 pm - Hotel Check-out

Leave your bags in the hotel lobby for free (if you have any), and you will receive a ticket for your luggage so you can go anywhere and return to pick up your purchases.

9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Time for Miami Beach

This is the time for everyone to go to the beach. You must check out of your room no later than 12:00 pm.

12:00 – 4:00 pm – Shopping on Collins Avenue

This is the street with the most shopping opportunities. Free time.

5:00 – 6:00 pm – Departure to Miami airport

8:00 – 10:00 pm – Arriving at Washington – Baltimore airports

12:00 – 1:00 am - Estimated arrival time in Ocean City, MD

 

Miami, Florida

Miami is a city located on the Atlantic coast in southeastern Florida and the county seat of Miami-Dade County. The 44th most populated city proper in the United States, with a population of 417,650, it is the principal, central, and most populous city of the Miami metropolitan area, and the most populous metropolis in the Southeastern United States after Washington, D.C. In 2010, Miami ranked seventh in the United States in terms of finance, commerce, culture, entertainment, fashion, education, and other sectors. It ranked thirty-third among global cities. In 2008, Forbes magazine ranked Miami "America's Cleanest City", for its year-round good air quality, vast green spaces, clean drinking water, clean streets and city-wide recycling programs. According to a 2009 UBS study of 73 world cities, Miami was ranked as the richest city in the United States, and the world's fifth-richest city in terms of purchasing power. Miami is nicknamed the "Capital of Latin America", is the second largest U.S. city with a Spanish-speaking majority, and the largest city with a Cuban-American plurality.

Downtown Miami is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and many large national and international companies. The Civic Center is a major center for hospitals, research institutes, medical centers, and biotechnology industries. For more than two decades, the Port of Miami, known as the "Cruise Capital of the World", has been the number one cruise passenger port in the world. It accommodates some of the world's largest cruise ships and operations, and is the busiest port in both passenger traffic and cruise lines.
